Self-service portal with signing solution for the Danish Energy Agency
The Danish Energy Agency is a public authority under the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Supply that works with a wide range of tasks in Denmark's energy and supply sector. Ongoing regulations in legislation in the energy field have meant that the Danish Energy Agency is experiencing a continuous increase in case processing tasks. With the development of the new self-service portal, we have helped with the automation and efficiency of these, so that the Danish Energy Agency can provide citizens with a more efficient service and focus on the tasks where it adds value to handling the process manually.
User-centered design process and solution
Through a process based on observations, interviews and user tests with the various user profiles (from network companies, service companies, facility owners and application administrations), we developed a user-centric portal that optimally supports the relevant needs, usage scenarios and flows for each. To ensure a consistent and recognizable expression, the portal is based on look and feel, as well as UI elements from the Danish Energy Agency's internal employee portal, geared towards citizens without daily use of the system with a more airy and guiding expression that gives the user an intuitively accessible user interface.
State of the art cloud solution
The solution is built in Microsoft Azure, with a microservices architecture, developed in .NET Core and React.js in a decoupled architecture that makes it possible to ensure lightning-fast performance. The solution has been integrated with MitID, CPR service, DAWA, KMD Elements and SendGrid and contains an Umbraco instance for the administration of external users, texts and configuration of the portal. The solution undergoes continuous penetration testing to ensure compliance with security requirements, maintaining its status as a state-of-the-art solution.

Post-launch, we manage the operation, support, and further development of the solution through a dedicated support team that is highly-familiar with it.
